|
I have a Nested Design with an Element (Polygraph) being displayed that can't be found in the programming view (Elements and Pipes).
Is there a way (or can it be added) to select an element in layout mode and delete it? The only way to delete an element seems to be from the programming view, and the element is not showing up there.
This Nested Design started life as a collection of Elements in-place in a design. I copied the design and deleted all elements but the desired elements to be included in the Nested Design then added the necessary Nested Design elements (like Nested Input). I have tried reloading Bioera and I've tried saving the Nested Design as a new copy of the same Nested Design. The next steps would be to try removing all the Nested Design elements and saving the file as a new design. I haven't tried that yet. |

| Ooh, I did it. I used the Element > Element List to select the item. Then, although it was still not shown in programming mode I hit keyboard delete and went back to Edit view and it is gone. :) |

| Another way would be to search for this element. This operation should highlight it (if found). Then press Del. |
