When a polygraph color array is left empty and colors are selected automatically do they pull from their position in the Advanced > trace color gradient?
What does it mean when one of the trace color labels in Polygraph has a black outline?
Is there a way to display numeric display of the values of traces as part of Polygraph?

Yes, the color gradient should be loaded when the color array is either empty or shorter than the number of connected inputs.
BUT, the color gradient loading seems to have broken. Will be fixed in 4.251.
If neither of the above is set, then colors are generated automatically.
