|
Hi Jarek,
I am working around Design protection, design sharing, etc.. I read what your wrote in the manual under Design settings: http://www.proatech.com/be/manual.html#_Toc139383363
A few questions came up:
1) Is the Dongle that I can purchase from you to run Bioera different then the Dongle I create for protecting and sharing my designs?
2) If yes, does a person, who runs Bioera from a dongle needs additionally plug in a second Dongle (whcih I created) to run my designs?
3) In the manual (link above) you write under "special design protection" at step 6: "Put the file on the target computer in either the BioEraPro "Config" folder or on the dongle inside "BioEralic" folder (it is hidden but accessible)" Does this mean, that I possible could send the "signature file" to someone via eMail and ask them to put in the BioEraPro "Config" folder to then run the designs?
4) At step 3 you wrote: "Get the "Hardware code" value for the dongle (accessible under Help->License, note: BioEra must be started with this dongle in order to see it)" Is this the hardware code of the customers computer on which Bioera Pro is already running and on which my designs shall be run?
5) And if 4 is yes, I am concluding right, that following procedure would work: a) get the hardware code from of the computer on which Bioera Pro is already running (a customer PC) and on which my designs are intended to be used/run. b) After creating the signature file (with the hardware code information of my customer PC), I could send it to the customer via eMail to put it into the BioEraPro "Config" folder OR send an hardware dongle to the customer?
Lots of questions, but maybe als interesting to others.
Thanks for your answer! |

1. No, it is the same dongle. 2. N/A 3. Yes. 4. Yes. 5. Yes. You don't need to send a dongle, unless you also sell BioEra license to someone at the same time. |

Ah okay, thanks for the answers so far!
Another szenario is, what happens if the customer has bought a licence without a dongle ("BioEra Pro for Windows - single computer $249").
I guess I also get the hardware code the same way as described in 4), right? |
