Hi Jarek,
for me xdf readers are big troubles, because they make a lot of problems for me. I write some of my problems here:
1. Let's assume that I use an xdf writer to save some data files in the folders with names A and B. now I want to use an xdf reader to read a data from folder A, but then I realize for some reasons the data in folder A is not valid or simply I don't want the folder A, so I decide to delete it and I load data from folder B in my xdf reader.
HERE is where the trouble shows up. Apparently xdf readers remember the first data file that had been loaded in them. so if I reload my design, I face an error in my xdf reader telling me that it can?t find the data file. This error sounds logical but it should be resolved once I load a data from folder B right? but it doesn't, instead it makes an empty folder named A again :O and no matter how many times I load data from folder B for it , again after some design reload, it keeps remembering A. it is driving me crazy , because I had some extra data folders and many designs which contained xdf readers using data from those folders now I want to eliminate those folders but I cannot do it without trouble.

2. This time let's assume that I have an xdf reader which normally should have 4 outputs based on my design ,meaning that for example only 4-channle signals should be loaded in it. now if someone makes a mistake and instead of a 4-channel signals load a 2-channel signal or 3 or 5-channel signals in it. the design might not work properly anymore even if you load the right file in it. this is a very frequent problem that messes up everything.

p.s. Please check the bioera support email, i sent u an email earlier.

If you think something is wrong with the implementation of the XDF element please create a snippet and explain what you expect to see (which isn't there).

well, I think if you add the option "remember the last data file" for xdf reader and also an option to fix the number of outputs for xdf reader once it was set , then none of problems above would show up again. would it be possible?
