I am facing an odd problem, when every thing is just working pretty fine , after a while like a week or so , one of my design's contents disappears . i mean it's size get zero. and when i try to open it it gets an INVALID format . i mean after trying to open it, its format will be like filename.bpd.invalid
It is happening over and over on different computers . i must solve this problem as soon as possible.

I don't know of a reason of anything like that. Do you see any errors on the console when this happen? The ".invalid" extension is created when the design file can't be loaded at all, which means the file content has been corrupted somehow.

An idea - maybe your antivirus changes that file it because it determines it is infected? Try to disable it for this folder.

Another idea - try to change the "Nested initialization" to "Load global properties", that way this design will never be saved.

noo,it is not anti virus problem coz some of my systems don't have any anti virus. what do you mean by the "design will never be saved "? what if i want it to be saved ? i don't understand you .

moreover, it is not just an specific design that this happens to it. there are three nested designs which r inside each other and every time , this happens to one of them.

The main design and all nested designs are saved when BioEra exits, unless you set "Exit without save" system setting (or select option like "Load global properties", none of that is set by default though).

Try to see if there is any error or message printed on console when that happens. Start BioEra WITH CONSOLE to do that.

Looks like the "design\libs\onefilter.bpd" file is empty (as you said) and can't be loaded, this error confirms that: "load problem: Invalid format".

But I don't see anything that could explain why this happens.

If you send me your designs (all required to run this design, along with resources they use) with instructions how to reproduce this, I will try it. If I can reproduce here, I can investigate further.

I strongly doubt you can reproduce the problem, it happens very randomly, and it may take so long till it happens. for example, you may work with these designs for a month and nothing wrong happens but one day, out of a blue this happens. it is so frustrating bc it makes my designs so unstable. now I am in stress when will this happen again and those who are using my designs will complain.

This is not what commonly happens for other BioEra users, so maybe you can do something to improve it.

For example, make sure this particular design file is not being saved in more than one place. If you use it from several NestedDesign elements, try to create a copy and use a separate copy from each of them.
