Hi Jarek

When running the design with a 3D-element, the console shows the error message that the pixelformat is invalid. No 3D-grafics are displayed.

Thanks for help

Hi Robert,

could you please provide what exactly error message is printed on console. Best if you copy the text from console and past it here.

Thanks

Hello Jarek

I get this error message when I load the FFT_3D.bpd design in the examples folder in BioEraPro 1.8.4.

BioEra is started
created 3D
wglCreateContext Failed: Das Pixelformat ist ung3ltig.
wglCreateContext Failed: Das Pixelformat ist ung3ltig.

(Translation of the german part: The pixelformat is invalid.)

Some hardware/software specs:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Videocard: Saphire Radeon x7000 pro
Videodriver: ATI 6-12_xp_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_38463
OS: Windows XP 2ed, (german version)

The above design is running fine, but without visible Vector3D Display.

I also tried to update Java3D with java3d-1_5_0-windows-i586, but also this version did not solve the problem.

Thanks a lot for your help

Hello Robert,

although it was not exactly the same error message we did experience similar error with 3D display on some computers, and it has already been fixed. It will be available in the next release of BioEra Pro approx at the end of January. If you need this earlier we can arrange this off line.

Hi Jarek

Thanks a lot for your answer. I do not need 3D display for the moment and the rest of BioEra works very very well. So I can wait.

Best regards

Robert
