Topic: App Freeze with Ganglion

It happens after a session completes and the Ganglion disconnects. Details: If I leave the Ganglion connected after a session completes, I notice that some minutes later when I attempt to close BioEra it won't close. The Ganglion has disconnected (flashing blue LED). The Stop button is available but not functional. I have to use Task Manager to close BioEra.

I have not seen that behavior here, but I may not have done the same. If it happens on regular basis please let me know exact steps how to do it. If I am able to reproduce then maybe can do something about it.
EMebane Joined: Apr 15, 2019 Posts: 98	Posted: Jun 24, 2019 4:12 AM    Post subject: I experience the app freezing consistently when I finish a session then without stopping the session I go into edit mode and adjust a setting on something (most recently a Polygraph element). I press Control-S to save and I find I'm unable to switch back to View mode. The Play and Stop buttons are both blue. Button clicks are visibly effective (up/down states), but I can't get out of Edit mode and I can't close the window. I have to force quit the application. BTW: This time I did turn off the Ganglion before making any of these changes so it may not be the connection with the Ganglion that is the culprit. It could just be adjusting element properties after finishing a session (via SessionTimer element).

It seems to occur when I leave a session active (after completing a training) and then go and edit a property of an element (while in View mode, not Edit mode). Perhaps this is a similar problem where editing anything while in play mode can cause the app to freeze.

It is allowed to open element properties at any time (also from the design). If I could reproduce it, I would definitely investigate. If you ever find out a way to do that on demand, please let me know.
