Jarek,
All my nested designs have been created as .bpd files. Will I need to create new nested designs in .abd format to run well on android.
I ask because I am having some problems with some displays on android.
Thanks

George,
yes, all android designs should have .abd extension. The nested designs might work as of now, but eventually the will need to be changed.
I do not believe however that the design file extension will change how display behaves. Display on Android is the most challenging part because it is completely different than with java on Windows. |

Jarek,
The nested design that is having problems is a rather complex threshold nested design. It toggles between auton and manual, and uses sliders to adjust the threshold success % for auto thresholds. The slider does not appear on android. I switched to buttons for adjusting % success. That time the threshold did not appear at all when I uploaded the design.
I was hoping I could open two instances of bioera and copy the base elements for the nested design then paste them into a new android design but that is not an option. I will go about creating the nested design in abd format to see if that is helpful

George,
slider should appear on Android. I does in my tests. Perhaps your design uses it in a different configuration which causes an unexpected internal problem. I will be happy to investigate if you send me your design which has a problem with slider. |

jarek,
Slider works fine if it is by itself. It is when it is in the nested design that it fails to show up. The nested design is a is a bpd design so that might be the problem. I will give this one more try then send it off to you if the problems persist
