Jarek,
I wanted to let you, and anyone else interested, know that:
After much experimentation I went back to the manual (always a good idea) and discovered the propagate dynamic connections property.
I now have a nested design that does exactly what I want!
The nested design is simply nested inputs, synchronizer, excelWriter and nested Properties element. In nested properties allow dynamic connections and propagate dynamic connections options are both checked. Sync is set to Output Rate by Lowest.
I place this into the rather large base design. Each time I connect one amplitude input to the new nested design, a new input appears. As the manual so clearly states, \"open nested design\" shows that the new connections have propagated through to the excel writer.
The only other connection I have to make is the final (non amplitude) connection using a scalar time transform connected to a dummy data stream. Set to down sample 1 second average. And I get exactly what I want. One data point each second. I have tried it with up to 10 inputs and it continues to work wonderfully.
I have told myself and others on many occasions that the most difficult part of BIoEra Pro is mastering the myriad of elements and properties (a task I have only partially accomplished) And the greatest strength is that you can do almost anything you want.
Thanks for your help and continued development
George
