Hi Jarek,
Thanks for the new driver,you will be pleased to know that the new driver has made a difference to Bioera.Alpha-midi and orbital 1 now work ok. Have to figure out how to control them now. Now that the driver is working Ok what happens if I want tomuse a laptop without a serial port for EEG.I intend purchasing one in the near future. I have an usb serial adapter which I can use. Guess the port name will be different.

Hi Bernie,
the usb-to-serial adapter should work as well as built in serial port. I have one, and never had problems with it. Yes the COM number may be different.
