I am trying to write time information to a file...i have connected the time source element to the excell file writer - the output appears to be written at random times...i would like to record the time of certain keypress events in ms. I have tried using the ratenormalizersyc but probably haven't connected these in the correct configuration.
Please could you explain how is should connect these to get the info to write to the file

There are many ways this can be done. This is probably the easiest example:

thanks for your speedy reply...this works well now.....

One thing with the image presentation. The example you gave ran ok originally but now gives an error saying that thumbs.db is not loaded. when i go to the directory no such file is listed. If i delete this entry from the list of files and re-run, the entry just reappears...where is the element getting the file names from, and how can i stop it from listing the thumbs file?

I don't know about this file. It doesn't come from BioEra. It must be created by the Windows somehow, and is probably hidden so you don't see it in the folder.
