Jared,do you plan to include elliptic filter(aside from butterworth and chebyshev) in the near future?

Hi,
I did not have such plans yet, but most of BioEra features are added after requests from users. If there is more of them then the priority increases. I will keep this in mind and try to find some time.

Well, the elliptic certainly does have steeper roll-off at any given order than the alternatives and therefore a shorter delay for biofeedback. Also, both the EEGINFO and BrainTrainer folks use them to good effect in their BioExplorer designs, so if elliptic was implemented then I figure it will get use in BioEra. I ended up substituting Chebyshev for my inhibits, where I'd normally think to use elliptical. More on the opinion side, than a request.

I just wanted to mention that I'm really starting to appreciate how good the filters are in BioEra. I've done some testing of filters using bursts of different combinations of frequencies as well as tests for detection in the presence of heavy interference, and it's pretty clear that the available filters are optimized for very fast but correct response and that the filter delays and cutoff frequencies correspond well with what has been set in Filter properties. I am very thankful for that, and can see how much work it is to implement a filter properly.
