Hi, I just downloaded Bio Era. I've been using Bio Explorer so far. My main purpose for Bio Era is to put Video Camera Recording as well as sound recording elements to a design.
However, an error pops up when I try to add Video Camera Recording element, saying \"this element can't be added at this moment. More details can be found on console\"
I don't know much about \"console\", but is there any way that I can add the element to a design with Bio Era?
Thanks.

The audio recording should work as now and on any system. Just add PCMAudioSource (this will connect microphone) and connect it to WavFileWriter (this will save the audio in wav file).
The video recording is more complicated (and sometimes not available).
First, in order to use video recording, you need make sure that JMF package has been installed. This can be selected during installation (the JMF checkbox), which is cleared by default, and needs to be selected. If you haven't done it, or are not sure, just run the installer again.
There may be however problem on 64bit systems, I wasn't able to do video recording on Windows 7, 64 bit system. It worked fine 32 bit systems, tested on XP and Vista.
The console is visible, when \"BioEra with Console\" is used to start. It shows information which can be useful during debugging. It is not necessary once all works properly.
