| Jarek, I want to use audio CDs and recorded MP3s on the hard disk in Jeff Carmen's ezPIR as feedback. Is there a separate CD Player element, and a separate MP3 Player element? How do I set it up just to play audio CDs in BioEra Pro, or just to play MP3s, as feedback? |

The most commonly used way to play mp3 is to take SoundFileReader and connect it to PCMAudioPlayer.
There is no dedicated element for CD music playback. I think it should be possible using the VideoFilePlayer (it handles both video and sound), but I am not sure at this moment, I have not used this media for a long time. |

| I have tried switching the CODECs listed in the element for video, but the DVD element only senses when a DVD disk is loaded, not CD ROM. I have the Cyberware and WMP loaded and working, and the Cyberware stuff is only set up for audio playback, anyway. The Intervideo Codec 8 that Jeff uses does not sense the CD in the caddy, at all. |
