I am currently using the BIoera trial version for a research project using the pendent eeg to collect data . most of my work has been done on Matlab but I am aiming to move to BioEra if I sort some issues I have .
I am aiming to move to BioEra but prior I need to ask about some functions the trial doesn't do but I hope the full version does
- is there a way to record the recordings of the device - is there a way to record the recordings produced by the software's simulator ? - what kind of format does are the recordings produced at ?
I do await your informative response (as usual)

Ad,
the short answer is: Yes, you can record, and currently the default file format is EDF (European Data Format), used by many other softwares. The examples which come with BioEra demonstrate how to record. After you start any example design, click on the red recording button (with either simulation or a device source), wait some time and stop. Then you can play it back. The recording is stored in 'replay.edf' file under 'archive' folder.
