Hi there,

I am really impressed with your software. It's really professional.

I am developing my custom EEG hardware, I have to ask about the compatibility of resolution and sample rate of my hardware with BioEra before buying it.

Does BioEra compatible with 16 bit samples?

My hardware has 24 bit Sigma Delta ADC and its noise performance is 14-15 bit resolution effective in best cases. So I think it's OK to drop the 8 bit LSB and use it as 16 bit resolution samples.

My other problem that my EEG sampling rate is either 220 or 440 or 880.
Is there any way to communicate with BioEra at 220 sample/sec for each channel (maybe up to 8 channels)?

Many thanks

Yes, BioEra can handle 16 bit samples. It can also handle any signal rate, so your 220 and others will be no problem at all. BioEra has been tested and worked well with 22 channel (1024 sample rate) QEEG designs without any difficulty or impact on performance, obviously it all depends on the design, but in most cases it is fine.
