|
Hello,
I was connecting Neurobit with Bioera Litle.
ToolsInstall device eurobitcomand when connection is starting every thing goes until \"initializing device\" but when next text comes, it apears only for 0.5 second and Bioera is closing (without any message). What could it be?
I have latest Java version from Sun.
Best regards, Emon |

Yes, it is XP. I use ircomm2k latest version.
One more. When I choice bad port everytking goes ok (counts waiting for device) and of courese doesn`t find anyone.
From console: BioEra is started starting device wizard max_bw=100.000000 selected_model_index=0 # # An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x6d6fd04a, pid=1968, tid=1252 # # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_06-b05 mixed mode, sharing) # Problematic frame: # V [jvm.dll+0x8d04a] # # An error report file with more information is saved as hs_err_pid1968.log # # If you would like to submit a bug report, please visit: # http://java.sun.com/webapps/bugreport/crash.jsp # |

I am not able to replicate this problem on my XP. Evertyhing works well for each java version I tried.
I am using IrComm2k version 2.0.0-beta3 (2004-12-12)
I have one suggestion. Instead of using \"Install device\" please open a design (e.g. Diagnostic), then edit properties of Source (Device Set) element: 1. mark \"Save global\" checkbox, 2. choose \"Neurobit\" from the list of devices, 3. click Apply, 4. switch to Serial Port tab, 5. select your port (see which one in ControlPanel->System->DeviceManager) 6. select 115000 for Baud. 7. Click OK
Start design and see if it works. And let me know.
