I bought the openeeg project boards because it is a cheaper alternative for me and am going to assemble the unit within the week maybe add wireless ability to it via blue tooth for safety isolation and all that,, I decided to have this over emotivs epoc game control eeg due to the fact they do not provide raw eeg read out for the unit,at least this is what is claimed in their forums.

I have always been interested in binaural beats and isochronic \"monaural\" stimulation and this purchase of EEG device is for that reason, what im interested in finding is software that is able to take an eeg signal and use that signal as a modualtion for a pitch tone , the modualtion would be monaural, but I supose it could make binauals to, also I looked at allot of software on the internet unlike the FFT analysis on adobe audition I was wonder if there was a software that allowed me to pause the readout of the raw eeg signal and then highlight the peeks of the signal and show a hz readout in accord to the specific brainwave, within categorization like for examp

DELTA > raw eeg readout > then select peak amplitudes of frequency as a HZ value
THETA > raw eeg readout > then select peak amplitudes of frequency as a HZ value
ALPHA > raw eeg readout > then select peak amplitudes of frequency as a HZ value
BETA > raw eeg readout > then select peak amplitudes of frequency as a HZ value
GAMMA > raw eeg readout > then select peak amplitudes of frequency as a HZ value

this would be so that if there is no software with the ability to modulate a pitch then I have something to use that could allow me to 'manually' use this for brainwave stimulation.

but I have yet to find a software that describes what im looking for, maybe this is due to the fact I do not know much about the software usage or lack of familiarity with eeg software because of being a new user and all, despite the fact I have electronics skills.

many of the charts also do not show a very detailed frequency's of brainwaves they

in THETA etc they will below the chart listed amplitudes of raw eeg readout the HZ values as 2 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 but give no specifics of the precise frequency like 5.4hz or 2.3hz or 10.3hz in the EEG software pics Ive seen.

any input or correction on these subjects would be much appreciated.

In BioEra it is possible to modulate pitch of the sound tone based on the input signal. The Trial version includes examples for both monaural and binaural beat modulation based on the EEG band (theta, alpha etc) amplitude.

I actually used both types in my personal training experiments. Binaural beat feedback is much more pleasant and relaxing, so I usually do it first, but monaural feedback is easier to control so I do it next to get deeper results.
