Hi
Where do I find the reward and inhibit frequence setting?
I would like to make two variations of this design one that inhibits theta and raises SMR and the other one that inhibits theta and raises beta (15hz-18hz)

Adam,
when BioEra starts it automatically opens a demo design with one inhibit and one reward channels. You can see 2 sliders on the runtime window. The red slider is for inhibit frequency , and the green for reward frequency.
So for SMR you can simply set the green slider to 13.5Hz, and red to 7.5Hz (or so). The slider sets the center of the band, with 3Hz width.
The demo game car moves forward only when both auto thresholds are met.

Found it thanks.
Are you saying that whatever frequency I set this to it gives a range of -1.5Hz and +1.5Hz?
So if it was set to 10Hz it would range from 8.5Hz - 11.5Hz?

Yes, that is correct.
Also I think I made some improvements in the example designs recently (after the last Trial release). I put the latest version here (overwrite all files in design/examples folder):
bioera.net/support/designs/examples.zip

Hi
Thanks for the updated designs.
Wouldnt setting the inhibit to 5.5Hz be better for 4Hz-7Hz (theta) inhibition?
Thanks Adam |
