Hi all,

I am considering purchasing BioEra pro in order to facilitate in research at the university I work at. However I have a query first.
Is it possible to steam processed data out via the XmlNetServer? I am currently interested in realtime alpha wave data. Does this program provide such a facility or will I have to process the data that BioEra sends in order to interperate the alpha levels of the readings.

If anyone can help on this issue that would be great

Anthony,

yes you can use XmlNetServer to stream data out in real time. And also you can do all alpha processing in the design, then send only the final results/values to XmlNetServer, for example Alpha amplitudes.

You can try this function with BioEra Trial version, once the design is started the easiest (manual) test is to connect to the XmlNetServer using command \"Telnet 7489\" and observe the values printed on console.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

I assume this applies to delta, theta, beta amplitudes as well as (hopefully) micro voltage levels (sorry I do not have the hardware available at this second to test it). My current research is in BCI and as such it is good to know I can do a lot of the processing in your software and then build mine to adapt.

Yes, XmlNetServer can send multi channel data, so many different signals including Delta, Theta, Beta, Gamma and others can be sent simultaneously.
