|
Hi, I just downloaded BioEra trial and I am having difficultes connecting. I get the error message "Device pocket-eeg/heg not detected on port com 3"` I have checked the device manager and the drivers are working properly. The pendant appears to be connected to the wireless doggle because of the blinking light. I am using an HP dv9000 with Vista. Thanks, Tim |

Tim,
sorry, this happened because default for Pocket-EEG-HEG element is Pocket (and not Pendant), we will add new selection to the wizard.
For now please 1. open Tools->Device (source) selection 2. Select Pocket-EEG-HEG from the list and click OK 3. open again Tools->Device (source) selection 4. click on SerialPort tab, and select your serial port 5. Click OK 6. Optionally restart BioEra
Your pendant should work now.
Let me know if there is any problem!

Jarek, Thanks for your help. It appears that I have been able to get out of simulation mode and BioEra is recognizing the pendant. However I am having difficulties actually recieving data. When I ran pac man there was no incoming frequencies of any kind. Any suggestios? Tim |

Tim,
what are the symptoms? I assume you see the trace on Oscilloscope chart?
When you execute bioera with console, do you see any messages there?
If you notice something like: "Pocket-EEG/HEG synch lost:", then it means the connection is weak (perhaps due to interferences).
